Former Evansville standout Endress named to ESPN The Mag's Academic All-American team

Ball State senior forward Kate Endress, a former standout at Evansville Memorial, has been named the ESPN The Magazineâ??s CoSIDA Academic All-America Player of the Year, womenâ??s basketball/university division. Endress is one of four players to be pictured along with a brief review of her career at BSU.

Hereâ??s what it says on Page 105 of the May 09, 2005, issue of ESPN The Magazine:

â??A two-time Academic All-America selection who earned a spot on last yearâ??s first team, Endress has posted a 3.95 cumulative grade point average as an Entrepreneurship major and was the MAC Player of the Year. She averaged 18.5 points this past season and on the schoolâ??s all-time lists, ranks second in career points (1,843) and three-pointers (205).â?

Congratulations to the former Tiger for showing that Hoosier Hysteria is not just about what you can do on the floor, but how to score in the classroom as well.
