Last season as a freshman for South Bend Washington, Skylar Diggins
made a grand entrance into the high school game. Not only did she
average over 20 points a game, but she also helped guide the Panthers
to a 25-2 record and a Class 4A state runner-up finish.

This season, both Diggins and her teammates hope to take the next step
and cut down the nets at Conseco Fieldhouse come March (the Panthers
currently are ranked second in the 4A poll behind unbeaten Hamilton
Southeastern).
