GAME 1: CLASS A GIRLS

GAME 2: CLASS A BOYS
In the most exciting game of the day, Blue River Valleys Blaine Hammond hit a 3-pointer with one second to play to give Class A East an 87-85 win over the West. The East jumped out to a 30-15 lead in the first quarter, but the West kept chopping away at the lead, finally catching the East at 63-all with 1:35 left to play in the third quarter.

It was nip-and-tuck the rest of the way, with Nathan Ferch of Oregon-Davis giving the West an 85-84 lead with 29 seconds to play in the game. The West had a chance to salt the game away but missed two late free throws, setting the stage for Hammond‘s heroics.

Winners of the Kent Benson Fellowship of Christian Athletes Mental Attitude Awards were David Henry of Bethesda Christian for the West and Kreigh Cook of Blue River Valley for the East. The Easts Gabe Miller of Hauser was named most valuable player.
