The Farrington Governors may have been concerned of
being the higher seed in this OIA Quarterfinal game after what had
happened last night.

But the defense had no part of those thoughts as they led their team to a 30-7 win over Campbell.  Farrington (5-2-2) will move on to play Leilehua, the upset winners over Mililani, in the 7:00p Semi Final game next Saturday at Aloha Stadium.

Campbell ends their season at  3-4-1.

The Governor defense accounted for 10 points ?? 2 safeties and an intercepted lateral return for a 40 yard touchdown.

Farrington would have their first 3 scores all within the last 2:00 of the 1st half.  Kalei Stevens returned a punt 45 yards for a touchdown.  On the ensuing Sabers possession, there was a fumble into the endzone that was recovered by a Campbell player and downed for a safety.  After the free kick, quarterback Iu Alefosiu connected with Drake Miller for a 35 yard scoring pass play.

Both teams did not run very well as Campbell??s defense also had a solid performance.

Campbell??s Samson Anguay would score on a 5 yard touchdown run in the 3rd quarter for their only score.  He ended up with 9 carries for 42 yards.

Dayton Kealoha was the workhorse for the Governors with 22 carries and 68 yards.
