SAINT LOUIS 49 WORD OF LIFE ACADEMY 0


Saint Louis dominated with 49 first half points in its 49-0 victory over Word of Life Academy in a Interscholastic League of Honolulu varsity football win at Aloha Stadium.


The Crusaders exploded for 35 points in the second quarter. The highlight of the second quarter came after a spectacular punt return for a score by the Crusaders.


Saint Louis will play Damien next week while Word of Life Academy will face Kamehameha.




KAMEHAMEHA 45PAC-FIVE 7


Leading 14-7 in the first quarter, the Warriors scored 31 unanswered points in winning 45-7 over Pac-Five in a Interscholastic League of Honolulu varsity football game at Aloha Stadium.


The Wolfpack were unable to convert three separate red zone drives into points. The Warrior defense blocked a field goal and came away with two interceptions.


Kamehameha will play Word of Life Academy next week. Pac-Five will play Punahou next week.




PUNAHOU 49IOLANI 7


Punahou raced out to a 26-0 lead and went on to win 49-7 over Iolani in a Interscholastic League of Honolulu varsity football game at Punahou School yesterday.


Punahou celebrated its homecoming and senior aloha after the game in front of a very large crowd of football fans.


Punahou will play Pac-Five next week while Iolani will have a bye.

Pac-Five 28 – Punahou 7
Kamehameha 28 – Damien 6
Iolani 29 – Word of Life Academy 25


Iolani will play Word of Life Academy for the ILH intermediate football championship on Saturday, October 25th at Iolani School at 2:00pm.
