The
Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association has released its second set of
polls for the 2008-09 season, and the news Thanksgiving week is the debut of a
half-dozen new schools.

A
trio of Class 4A schools – Mooresville, Penn, and Seymour – are new to the
big-school Top 10 this week, as are Benton Central in 3A, Taylor in 2A, and Southern
Wells in Class A. Meanwhile, two schools make a significant jump in the second
round of polls: Fishers (eighth to sixth in 4A) and Austin (seventh to fourth
in 2A).

The
previous top-ranked teams in each class – Ben Davis (4A), Wawasee (3A), Heritage
Christian (2A), and 1A Oregon-Davis – all remain the same.

Teams
are listed by current ranking followed by school, record, vote total, and
first-place votes if applicable. Your 40 Top 10-ranked schools plus all those
receiving honorable mention votes from Nov. 24:
